Yubikey vs duo

A Yubikey U2F-only Security Key cannot be used for online authentication to Duo Authentication for Windows Logon (RDP), as U2F authentication is not supported. However, U2F authentication is supported for Offline Accessin Windows Logon during a local console logon.
